$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install divxenc 

divxenc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the divxenc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep divxenc *

You will get with divxenc package name, version, architecture and description in a table

divxenc package basic information:
